Three types of doctor visits are covered under Medicare Part B: -primary care physicians, specialist physicians, and dentists. Primary care physicians are those who take care of your general well-being and preventative care. Examples of these include family medicine, internal medicine, paediatrics, and obstetrics & gynaecology. Specialist physicians- treat illnesses and injuries that require advanced training, while dentists tend only to provide dental treatment. These specialists include orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and urology. Medicare Part B pays for doctor visits, outpatient care, physical therapy, speech therapy, and durable medical equipment. You pay a monthly fee based on your age and your income.

Medicare Part D-Prescription drug costs vary based on your plan type and where you get them filled.
