Those who do not receive this help may find themselves sleeping under bridges and trash bins, especially if they lose their ability to walk due to illness. - The number of rapes has been increasing over the years in metropolitan cities. The number of rapes has increased from 952 reported cases in 2000 to 2,859 reported cases in 2012. Another report released by the UNFPA in 2013 stated that 513 million women were victims of sexual violence worldwide. This represents nearly half of the female population aged 15–49.

- The total number of rapes had risen from 476,000 in 1990 to 782,000 in 2009. India, according to figures published by the National Crime Records Bureau, the number of rapes reported in 2010 was 2,37,943. In cities like New York and Washington DC, statistics have shown that over 50% of rape victims are female. This has raised concern about the increase in violent crimes against women in these areas.

In India, the rate of CRIME is alarmingly high, especially in urban areas; according to the National Crime Records Bureau, nearly 40 per cent of rape cases reported between 2001-and 2003 were committed by someone known to the victim.

The reason why crimes are rising is due to the increase in drug abuse. Many criminals are now turning to drugs to help them cope with stress. Drugs make them feel better and give them a sense of pleasure. Drugs are illegal and cause addiction. When someone becomes addicted to drugs, they are likely to turn to crime to fund their habit.

The number of elderly people is increasing rapidly. As society ages, the number of elderly citizens is expected to double by 2050. Elderly people are often victims of scams and frauds. They are even scammed online through fraudulent websites.
How To Reduce All Types Of Crime In Women Especially Large City?--
Women are generally weak physically, they are at higher risk of being victimized than other groups of people. However, several methods have been developed to counter this issue-- 1-Increasing public awareness 2- Expanding shelters, which provide shelter and food to vulnerable populations. 3- Empowering women to seek legal protection 4-Providing training to police departments- 5- Domestic violence

Protecting laws--There are also laws that protect the elderly from being victimized. The government needs to enforce these laws. They need to provide education programs to teach people how to avoid scams and frauds.
Change our attitude- we need to change our attitude towards crime. We need to understand that criminals are human beings just like us. They want to live a good life just like everyone else.
